While the iPad mini 6 has been rumored for quite some time, we’re still eagerly awaiting its release.

According to reliable sources recently, Apple is working on a new sixth-generation iPad mini.

Someone claims the new iPad mini 6 will arrive in this autumn 0f 2021. It’ll come out alongside the iPhone 13 then.

According to the lastest rumors, Apple is planning to bump the size of the iPad mini’s display somewhere in the vicinity of 8.5-inches to 9-inches. In another research note, he says it will be 8.5-inches.

Apple will redesign of the iPad min.  They may drop the home button, and  have slimmer bezels, Touch ID in the home button like the iPad Air, and USB-C rather than a Lightning connector.

You can expect the iPad mini 6 to come with numerous performance improvements. In fact, we’ve already heard about a few of them.

Apple’s working on a new iPad mini with mini-LED backlighting. The analyst believes mini-LED technology will be used on board 30–40% of ‌iPad‌ shipments  in 2021. They provide deeper blacks, higher brightness, and they’re also more power-efficient which could help with battery life.

The iPad mini 6 will likely include an upgraded processor which could also help with battery life, overall speed/multitasking, and experiences like gaming.  It will actually be Apple’s A15 processor inside the iPad mini 6. The A15 will be the chip that powers the new iPhone 13 series.

The iPad mini 6 will come with a 20W fast charging power adapter while the device will have “dramatically improved” speakers.

The ipad mini 6 will be an affordable flagship model. Apple’s iPad Pros require a sizable investment.  If Apple does release an iPad mini 6, it’ll almost certainly be cheaper than the base iPad Pro model. The new 2021 iPad pro models feature 5G connectivity , so we could see Apple bring 5G support to the iPad mini line as well.

According to leaker, the iPad mini 6 will be compatible with a new Apple Pencil that’s smaller than its predecessors.  We could see a new Apple Pencil 3rd generation alongside the new iPad mini 6.
